From the Gondola in Queenstown

Queenstown is about an hour's drive from Wanaka. The group of us went up and rode the town gondola, where they have some activities like paragliding, bungee jumping, and the "luge." It's like an "alpine slide" but you can steer it and find different fast lines down the track. We raced each other, passing and crashing . Super fun. We walked around town, and then drove up to Wanaka.

And here's one of the Snowpark, just down valley from Wanaka, where we'll be riding. That photo was taken from space during a different season, when there was no snow around the park, possibly late-season. Now the whole place is covered with tons of snow.

Hi Gregg,
Satya said you were in the southern hemisphere - sounds like a snowboard workcamp, and she suggested we look at your site, which we've now done, and we're very impressed.
We clicked onto your video link, not sure whether we had full use of that click, but I'm sure you'll update, and we're following on a daily basis.
As you may remember, Jonathan was down there two years ago, spending a european summer there, and thoroughly enjoyed what you show on your site - a very professional park and snowboard facility.
It's really been great fun for us - we're sitting here in 30° in Provence, able, to some degree, share in your experience down there, on what looks a very cold mountain.
Well, we hope you're keeping well Gregg. Take good care of that body of yours.
much love,
John and Marilyn
